This kit is of the Glasgow Phase III Standard cars. They were balcony top double deck cars with 180 degree stairs and 17’ long saloons. In addition, they had driver vestibules and roll top stair covers fitted. They had 7’ 0” 21E trucks.
There were 2 subclasses within Phase III.
1. Phase III/1, New hexagonal dash cars built to Phase III. There were 312 car, numbers 286-137, 136-93, 987, 91-1, 1039, 1040, 1051, 665, 666-685, 1088.
2. Phase III/2, rebuilds from Phase I and Phase II cars. All standard cars eventually reached Phase III. Total 692 cars. Numbers 686-1000, 664-398, 396-287.

Transfers - there are 6 sets available, a general set for all cars and an additional specific set for each of the route colours, see KW 039 xxx tr in the OO gauge transfers section.
